Pritzker Called to Testify Before Congress about Aiding Illegal Immigrants

We all know Pritzker works hard to protect illegal immigrants while Illinois citizens continue to suffer from bad public policy. For years, the governor has championed the notion of taxpayer handouts to fund services for illegal immigrants. Despite rising demand from local residents to end sanctuary city policies, Pritzker has doubled-down on his mission to protect illegal immigrants from being deported by ICE. Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson also defends Chicago’s protections for illegal immigrants and said the city’s “Welcoming City” ordinance makes all Chicagoans safer, which is a far cry from the truth.

Demand by Congress

Representative James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, has demanded Pritzker to appear before Congress on May 15, 2025 to explain his reckless sanctuary policies and why he is jeopardizing the safety of Illinois citizens. As of now, Pritzker said he has not made a decision on if he will have open conversations with members of Congress about aiding illegal immigrants.

State Representative Chris Miller issued the following statement:

“Between illegal criminals and the so-called SAFE-T Act, Illinois residents are less safe in their communities because of pro-criminal policies enacted by Governor Pritzker. I know in my district, people have had enough of Pritzker’s lies and they demand Democrats be held accountable for their progressive policies that are destroying the state of Illinois.”
