Thank you to Dr. Bernie Ranchero and Mark Bettinger for giving me a tour of the Ranchero Clinic in Mattoon that serves the Coles County area. Located near the Coles County Airport, the clinic is part of the Sarah Bush Lincoln system.
Dr. Ranchero is a family medicine doctor in Mattoon and is affiliated with Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. He received his medical degree from Xavier University School of Medicine
Mark Bettinger serves as the advisor of the Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship group at Eastern Illinois University. Chi Alpha is a student movement at EIU producing marketplace leaders with a missional mindset. Our purpose is to share God’s love with other students and help navigate through life’s big decisions together.
