I’m deeply disturbed by the reports that the Illinois Department of Human Services has been mailing voter registration materials to non-citizens. Let that sink in, a state agency under Governor Pritzker’s Administration is admitting that non-citizens were sent voter registration packets that were pre-addressed, I repeat, pre-addressed to their local clerks.The director admitted this in a senate hearing.
This is unacceptable and must stop immediately. The right to vote is one of the most sacred rights in America. It belongs to American citizens only. It’s not something that J.B pritzker or anyone else gets to decide to hand out to illegal immigrants, and this right is exactly why America is here.The rights of citizens to vote, not illegals.
This is why the U.S Senate must pass the SAVE Act immediately. This is why citizenship verification matters during elections. The Democrats call voter protections unnecessary or extreme. They don’t need the SAVE Act, but what’s actually extreme is allowing an agency director to knowingly engage in election fraud on behalf of a state of Illinois. Where’s the accountability?
This news demands more than a press release. I’m calling on President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice to investigate these actions immediately. If Governor Pritzker’s Administration hand-picked agency director, knowingly facilitated efforts that would enable illegal immigrants voter registration, the people of Illinois deserve a full Federal investigation and full accountability.
I wonder how many illegal immigrants we have on the voter rolls today.
