State Rep. Chris Miller Files Legislation to Allow Illinois State Police to Deport Illegal Immigrants Who Are Convicted of Crimes

State Representative Chris Miller (R-Hindsboro) has filed legislation that gives the Illinois State Police the authority to deport criminal illegal immigrants. House Bill 4237, also known as Katie’s Law, was filed to expand punishment to criminal illegal immigrants who commit crimes in Illinois. Rep. Miller said he had help creating this bill from Joe Abraham, who lost his daughter Katie earlier this year because of an illegal Guatemalan man who was driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Miller said more needs to do done to keep our communities safe from dangerous illegal immigrants.

“Katie Abraham had a bright future ahead of her and would still be with us today if Illinois did not have radical sanctuary state policies,” Miller said. “JB Pritzker has made Illinois less safe and communities more vulnerable to criminal illegal immigrants who put Illinois citizen’s lives at risk. I’m honored to have Joe’s support on this bill, and it is a direct message to Pritzker that we have had enough of his dangerous policies. We want criminal illegals who have been convicted in Illinois to do their time here and then immediately be deported to their home country.”

With a stroke of a pen, Pritzker makes energy less affordable in Illinois

Pritzker signs CRGA energy bill, costing consumers billions in higher energy rates. Governor JB Pritzker signed a controversial battery storage and energy omnibus bill into law last Thursday. Senate Bill 25, also known as CRGA, is another example of flawed green energy policies that Illinois ratepayers are already all too familiar with.

Pritzker’s signing of SB 25 comes on the heels of a study released last month by three state agencies that detailed the ‘credible risk’ of electricity shortages across Illinois within the next five years.

Illinois families and businesses need affordable, reliable energy. Democrats’ new energy law will only raise rates on hardworking Illinoisans who are already struggling with high power bills.

State Representative Chris Miller issued this statement after the Governor signed SB25 into law:

“This isn’t an energy bill; it’s an environmental giveaway that gives power to unelected bureaucrats to raise energy rates in the future and believe me they will. Small businesses this past summer saw their electricity rates double and triple from last summer. Now, these lunatics are mandating more green scams that are forcing companies to close their doors and letting other companies know not to do business in the state of Illinois. One thing is clear, Pritzker and the Democrats don’t care about Illinois citizens.”

The business community is also speaking up after listening to Pritzker’s lies and watching an energy crisis unfold in Illinois.

“A government-mandated full electrification policy would be a disaster for working families. It would wipe out thousands of good-paying union jobs, destabilize an already overburdened electric grid, and send energy bills through the roof—projected to increase more than 2,000 percent for businesses and consumers,” said Jim Sweeney, President-Business Manager of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 150.  “There’s a smarter path forward. We can reduce emissions without gutting the energy systems that millions of Illinoisans rely on every day. Keeping natural gas in the mix isn’t just common sense—it’s essential to protecting union jobs, maintaining grid reliability, and keeping energy affordable for working families.”

Do Democrats Want To See Illinois Burn?

Illinois is the only state whose pension systems owe over $100 BILLION more than they have on hand. On top of that, Illinoisans pay the highest property taxes in the country, with most of that money going toward the dishonest pension promises- not better schools, safer streets and improved services.

This Illinois Policy article alone offers 4 solutions to fixing the pension crisis. There are probably even more innovative ideas out there. But will Governor Pritzker and his Supermajority Democrat Party listen?

Our delusional governor and his reckless party have plenty of REALITY to face when they return to the Capitol. We need to pay close attention to how they handle this opportunity and HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE.

Anti-ICE Protests Exposed

Unruly (and sometimes criminal) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) protesters around the country are being mobilized by the same network that was used for the ‘No Kings’ protests this past summer.  Social media posts are being generated by the nonprofit group ‘Indivisible’ which came into existence in 2017 (not-so-coincidentally after Donald Trump’s first presidential victory) and has now amassed over $90 MILLION in donations.

The group uses ‘Mobilize’ which is much like Facebook but is chiefly focused on organizing protests and demonstrations. The effort is additionally backed by a vast, multimillion-dollar Democrat Party network.

Thankfully, arrests are being made.

Agitators are finally beginning to admit that their protests are not organic. They are, in many cases, being paid to participate. However, that’s not enough- lawbreakers need to be held accountable.

After a Florida woman named Jennifer Cruz punched a state trooper in the face during an ICE operation, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier responded to her by saying ‘not today, Jennifer’.

She promptly got herself arrested.

Supreme Court Victory For Illinois & America!

The final vote was 7-2, with predictable dissenters being liberal justices Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson.

In 2022, Illinois Congressman Mike Bost (R-Murphysboro) filed a lawsuit against the state for counting ballots postmarked on Election Day and up to two weeks later. The High Court affirmed that Bost had the right to sue over the ballot counting after Election Day, but they did not address whether states could allow mail-in ballots received after Election Day to be counted. That issue will be considered when they hear an upcoming Mississippi case, Watson v. Republican National Committee.

It’s Purely Political With These People

Spitting in the face of hardworking federal agents who risk their lives to protect American citizens, Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul recently announced that his office has filed a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security, accusing those same agents of being ‘dangerous’ and ‘unlawful’.

You can read a portion of his unconstitutional, self-serving rant here:

Hypocrisy Is Dangerous

Liberal Democrats created a stunning humanitarian crisis by blowing our southern border wide open and promoting lawlessness across the entire country. They have been sowing confusion and anger in the hearts of Americans and immigrants alike, and THEY’RE the ones who are outraged??

Meanwhile, these same ‘compassionate and tolerant’ people are STEALING from you to fund their power grab.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) just announced that they are withholding nearly $300 MILLION from California (#1 offender) after federal auditors confirmed that more than $1.8 BILLION in Medicaid funds have been unlawfully spent on illegal immigrants (including some with criminal records of murder and assault) across 8 states.

ILLINOIS IS THE #3 OFFENDER
