Radical Democrats Twist the Truth About ‘Operation Midway Blitz’ in Chicago
SPRINGFIELD, IL…State Representative Chris Miller (R-Hindsboro) is calling out Illinois Democrats for pushing a false narrative during Veto Session in Springfield. The Democrats chose to blame President Trump and Operation Midway Blitz for creating a hostile environment in Illinois during a discussion on political violence. Rep. Miller said Illinois Democrats have created a complete disaster out of Illinois with their progressive policies and now want to point fingers at Republicans for the high crime rates in Chicago and across other areas of Illinois.
“The truth is, Joe Biden’s administration allowed millions of criminal illegal immigrants to flood into our great Nation and JB Pritzker’s pro-criminal policies have given over 550,000 illegals a free pass in Illinois,” Miller stated. “Pritzker called federal law enforcement officers ‘jack-booted thugs’ for their efforts to protect American citizens at a time when Democratic leaders in Illinois refuse to do so. JB Pritzker should be thanking President Trump for launching Operation Midway Blitz, but instead he is spewing dangerous rhetoric and inciting more political violence.”
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Border Patrol officers have arrested more than 800 illegal aliens – including the ‘worst of the worst’ during Operation Midway Blitz. These arrests include illegal immigrants charged with armed carjacking, aggravated battery, rape, sexual assault, and felony drug possession.
Miller continued, “Our law enforcement officers risk their lives every day to keep us safe, and Pritzker is telling his radical followers to become ‘street fighters.’ Pritzker keeps throwing fuel on the fire every day with his anti-police rhetoric and should be impeached for ignoring the safety of Illinois citizens while harboring dangerous illegal criminals. I want to be very clear: Democrats twist the truth for political points while President Trump is doing Pritzker’s job of protecting Illinois citizens for him.”
