State Rep. Chris Miller Says Illinois Needs a New Vision by Adopting DOGE Initiatives
SPRINGFIELD, IL…Yesterday, State Representative Chris Miller (R-Hindsboro) joined Republican colleagues at a press conference to highlight the wasteful spending by progressive Democrats. Miller said the recent discovery of millions of dollars being wasted on Non-Government Organizations (NGO’s) and illegal immigrants is a small example of how deep the tunnel is to Pritzker’s vault of reckless spending.

“Illinois is in a state of disaster due to bad public policy and reckless spending by progressive Democrats who use taxpayer funds to reward non-government organizations who push their radical agenda,” said Miller. “Illinois citizens demand a new vision for our state, and we can deliver a strong, long-term solution to rein in Pritzker’s reckless spending with the adoption of Illinois DOGE.”
Despite billions being spent on NGO’s, illegal immigrants, and an educational system that is failing students, Illinois Democrats continue their non-sustainable spending spree. Taxpayers deserve to know where their tax dollars are being spent, and implementing an Illinois Department of Government Efficiency would shed light on how agencies are spending their budgets.
Rep. Miller strongly supports House Bill 1266 that would establish the Department of Government Efficiency in the Office of the Auditor General. This piece of legislation would allow the department to hold state agencies responsible for their spending by conducting audits and investigations.
Miller continued, “Families in Illinois are struggling with economic hardships created by poor public policy and Pritzker has done absolutely nothing to improve the quality of life for the citizens of this state. We will continue to support legislation that puts Illinois citizens first and expose the radical Democrats who refuse to trim the fat from their pork projects.”
