It was a pleasure to visit Villa Grove CUSD 302 and speak with the students and staff! I really enjoyed speaking to students about the Preamble of the Constitution, The Tytler Cycle, and much more. Thank you Sara Jones, Dr. Carol Munson, and Shane Phebus for allowing me to visit such a great school!
These Villa Grove students are smart and we also discussed politics. We had conversations about balanced budgets and how important it is to preserve values that benefit communities. Furthermore, I expressed to these students the importance of creating good habits and controlling only what he or she can control: attitude, effort, and passion.
