SPRINGFIELD… State Representative Chris Miller (R-Oakland) has been sworn in for a second term to serve the 110th Legislative District.
“I am thankful to the citizens who have entrusted me with representing them for another term. I ran again because I still see the many issues facing the people of Illinois,” said Rep. Miller. “We continue to pass out of balance budgets, our out-migration is rising, and our pension crisis is growing out of control. I renew my pledge as State Representative to tackle these issues and push for the reforms needed to improve the lives of Illinois citizens.”
Rep. Miller reaffirmed that his priorities as a legislator are to be accessible to the people he represents which is why he has a district office in Robinson and Springfield for constituents to meet with him as needed. This priority is heightened during this ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“With the ongoing pandemic, I want to reassure the people of the 110th district that my office is here to assist in whatever way we can. We have seen small businesses decimated by forced government closures. I want to focus on rebuilding our small business industry in Illinois and being a voice for the taxpayer,” concluded Rep. Miller.
