Democrats say they want the voters to decide on the graduated tax amendment but they are leaving out vital information as to what it will cost Illinois families and small businesses down the road. The question is not about the proposed rates right now, as they’ve already been raised since their announcement in March. The question is, can we trust politicians in Springfield with a blank check?
“I will continue to fight these proposals to raise income taxes, gas taxes, and all of the other taxes and fees that are being proposed in the Illinois legislature,” declared Rep. Chris Miller.
